Age Eligibility for Driving Test in Malaysian

Malaysian Driver license Eligibility Age Requirements are:

  • Class A minimum of 16 years for the Disabled vehicles
  • Class B, B1 and B2 minimum 16 years for the Motorcycle
  • Class D minimum 17 years for the car
  • Class E minimum 21 years for the vehicles Lorry
  • Class PSV 18 years for the conductor
  • Class PSV 21 years for the possessed CDLE class for the vehicles of Bas
  • Class PSV 21 years for the possessed CDLE class for the vehicles of Taxi

Different Classes of Driving Licenses in Malaysia

There are 5 common types of driving license in Malaysia, there are different classes which type of vehicle that are allowed to ride or drive. The classes are separated into motorcycles, cars, trucks, and tractors are the list out here:

A- Vehicles are used for the disabled person

B- Motorcycles

B1- Motorcycles will not exceed 500 cc

B2- Motorcycles will not exceed 250 cc

C- Motorized tricycles

D- Manual transmission cars with unloaded weights that don’t exceed 3500 kg

DA- Automatic transmission cars with the unloaded weight not exceed 350kg

E- Trucks for all the classes

E1 – Trucks with unloaded weight not greater than 7500 kg

E2 – Trucks with unloaded weight not below 5000 kg

F- Tractors / Light powered machines (wheeled) with unloaded weight not beyond 5000kg

G – Tractors / Light power-driven machines (chained) with unloaded weight not greater than 5000 kg

H – Tractors / Heavy mechanical machines (wheeled) with unloaded weight over and above 5000 kg

I – Tractors / Heavy powered machines (chained) with unloaded weight more than 5000 kg
