- What does Ontario’s three-second rule for driving mean?

- Is your insurance reduced from G2 to G?
Your insurance premium won’t decrease by a certain amount. Yet, as they go through the system, most G2 drivers benefit from insurance reductions of up to 10%. The same holds for upgrading from a G2 to a G license.
- How often did G2 fail?
The Ministry of Transportation permits you to retake the G2 exam as many times as necessary to pass; there is no cap on the number of times you may fail it. You must pass the exam before your G2 License expires as the only restriction (usually within five years).
