Categories of Quebec licenses

Quebec has several driver’s licenses, each with explicit standards and necessities. An overview of the other permits and essential information about them are as follows:

Class 5 Driver’s license

You can drive a car or light truck with this license, which is the most common type. To get a class 5 license in Quebec, a driver must be 16, pass a visual and written knowledge test and complete at least 20 hours of practical driving instruction.

Class 6A Motorcycle license

You can drive a motorbike or scooter with this license. To obtain a Class 6A license, you must be 16, pass a visual and written knowledge exam, and finish a motorcycle training program.

Class 6B Motorcycle license

With this license, you can operate a trike or motorcycle with three wheels. Class 6B license candidates must pass a vision and written knowledge test, complete a motorcycle training course, and be 18.
